Datadog

Datadog is the essential monitoring platform for cloud applications. It brings together data from servers, containers, databases, and third-party services to make your stack entirely observable.

With Datadog, you can create monitoring, alerting, and analysis dashboards for Superblocks.

Send logs to Datadog

To send Superblocks logs to Datadog, you will need:

1. A Log Management plan with Datadog. To learn more, see Datadog plans
2. A Datadog API Key
3. Your Datadog dashboard region

Copy API Key from Datadog

1. Log in to the Datadog dashboard
2. Navigate to Integrations → APIs
3. Expand the API Keys section and copy the API Key that you would like to use

Set up Observability in Superblocks

1. Log in to Superblocks
2. Navigate to Organization Settings → Observability
3. Click the Datadog tile
4. Provide the following settings:

Setting	Description
Site	Your Datadog dashboard's region.
API Key	The Datadog API Key you copied from the Datadog dashboard.

5. Click Create

You're done! The next time a user takes an action in Superblocks, you'll receive a copy of the log in Datadogs with the source set to Superblocks. Learn more about log types and schemas.
