Apply your organization’s tags to the AWS resources Superblocks deploys in your Cloud-Prem account, so they fit your cost allocation, ownership, and governance policies.

Which resources are tagged

Your tags are applied to the platform resources Superblocks deploys. They aren’t applied to the resources created by the bootstrap Terraform you run during deployment.

Add tags

  1. Choose the tags you want as key/value pairs. For example:
  2. Send the list to your Superblocks deployment team.
  3. Superblocks applies the tags at the next deployment.
You can add tags during your initial deployment or at any time after.

Tag rules

  • AWS tag rules apply. Keys and values must follow AWS tag naming limits and requirements. Keys that start with aws: are reserved by AWS.
  • The superblocks: prefix is reserved. Superblocks uses the superblocks: tag namespace for its own tags. Don’t start any of your tag keys with superblocks:.

Change or remove tags

To change or remove tags, send the updated list to your deployment team. Changes take effect at the next deployment.
