Confluent Cloud is a fully managed, cloud-native service for connecting and processing all of your real-time data, everywhere it’s needed. With Confluent’s hosted Kafka service, you can ingest Superblocks logs and to stream them to your Observability vendor of choice to create monitoring, alerting, and analysis dashboard for Superblocks.

Send logs from Superblocks to Confluent Cloud

To send Superblocks logs to Confluent, you will need:
  1. A Kafka cluster in Confluent Cloud
  2. A Confluent Cloud API Key
  3. The secret associated with your API Key

Copy API Key and Secret from Confluent

  1. Sign in to Confluent Cloud
  2. Navigate to the cluster you want to use, and click Cluster Overview → API Keys
  3. Click Create key and follow the prompts to create a Global access API key.

  1. Copy the API Key and secret created

Set up Observability in Superblocks

  1. Log in to Superblocks
  2. Navigate to Organization Settings → Observability
  3. Click the Confluent Cloud tile
  4. Provide the following settings:

TopicKafka topic to send logs to.

  1. Click Create
You’re done! The next time a user takes an action in Superblocks, you’ll receive a copy of the log to your Confluent Cloud cluster. Learn more about log types and schemas.
